The mechanic strength of organic liquid potting silicone rubber is not so good that it is easy to repair by breaking apart, namely, if some component breaks down, what you only need to do is breaking apart the organic liquid silicone rubber to replace with new component, then you could continue using it.

The color of the organic liquid potting silicone rubber could change at will according to your requirement. It could be transparent, semi-transparent or colored. Organic liquid silicone rubber has excellent performance in shock-proof property, electric property, water-proof property, high or low temperature resistance, aging resistance and so on.
Bi-component potting silicone rubber is the most common type which includes condensation type and addition cure type. In general, the addition cure type has a better adhesion to the component and the cavity than the condensation type, because the condensation type will produce low molecular substances and shrink obviously after being cured, while the addition cure type won’t generate any low molecular substances and could accelerate the process of curing under the condition of being heated.

Polyurethane liquid potting silicone rubber is also called PU potting silicone rubber. Its products possess the characteristics of low hardness, moderate strength, good elasticity, water proof, mould proof, shock proof, transparency, good electrical insulation and flame proof, no corrosion to the electrical component ,and good adhesion to steel, aluminum, copper, tin, rubber, plastics, wood, and so on.
